Empowerment & Justice
Our Journey Towards Empowerment
Rooted in community engagement and driven by innovation, WYDI adopts a holistic human rights-based approach to empower vulnerable populations and strengthen grassroots resilience.
WYDI began as a grassroots initiative in response to the pressing needs of women and youth in Liberia, evolving into a prominent nonprofit organization.
We have served diverse clients, including vulnerable women, youth, community leaders, and marginalized groups impacted by gender-based violence and inequality.
Mission
To promote the rights, dignity, and development of women, youth, and marginalized populations through economic empowerment, protection from gender-based violence, legal justice, civic engagement, and food security initiatives, guided by a rights-based and community-driven approach.
Vision
A society where women, youth, and marginalized populations are empowered, protected, and become active agents of sustainable development, justice, and equality.
